Behind the lens, Maël Fabre.
A photographer based in Carros on the French Riviera. Movement brought me to photography, and equestrian sport taught it to me better than anything: show jumping forgives no late shutter. That reflex serves me everywhere since — in competition, at events, in sessions.
What I look for does not change from one subject to the next: the honest moment. The focus beforehand, the effort, the closeness, the look that softens once it is over. Living, warm photos, made to be kept.

Where I work
Based in Carros, I travel across the French Riviera and the Alpes-Maritimes: Nice, Grasse, Cannes, Antibes, Mougins, Vence, Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Mandelieu, Monaco and the Nice hinterland.
